MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred says the owners are having conversations about the idea of a “Golden At-Bat,” where a team could choose one at-bat during a game where they can send a hitter to the plate out of order. There have been some ridiculous ideas tossed about over the years but this is one of the dumbest ever to be taken seriously. It’s so bad that Dan and the Danettes have a competition to come up with a stupider idea to present to the league.
Dan Patrick: “You don’t need it...How about we come up with a dumber idea and we give it to Major League Baseball?”
