My Three Favorite Super Bowl Prop Bets

Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest day of the year for sports gambling. Degenerates wake up today like kids on Christmas. Like college students on Saint Patrick's Day. With sports gambling now legalized in 20 states and Washington D.C., over 26 million bets are expected to be placed on Super Bowl Sunday, exceeding $6 billion wagered on the big game alone.

Some of the most popular gambling on Super Bowl Sunday is called prop betting, which are bets not directly related to the outcome of the game. Classic examples of prop bets include the length of the National Anthem, the result of the coin toss, and the color of Gatorade that will be dumped on the winning coach.

If it happens during the Super Bowl, you can bet on it. With that in mind, here are my three favorite prop bets ahead of Super Bowl 54:

Will any scoring drive take less time than the singing of the National Anthem?

Yes -255

No +205

Need to know: In the last 20 Super Bowls, there have been 153 scoring drives. 24% of them took two minutes or less.

Will Donald Trump Tweet during the Super Bowl?

Yes -150

No +110

Need to know: The President is running two advertisements during the game.

Will a Non-Quarterback Throw a Touchdown Pass?

Yes +340

No -580

Need to know: Philly Special anyone?
