The Steelers have a group of young, talented WR's that are itching to play with a Hall of Fame caliber quarterback.
JuJu Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson, James Washington, and Chase Claypool combine to form an athletic wide receiver room.
Who's going to have the best 2020 season?
My vote?
S-T-U-D.
Diontae Johnson will be the Steelers best wide receiver in 2020. He had 59 catches for 680 yards as a rookie. This with Duck Hodges and Mason Rudolph at QB.
I don’t think it’s crazy to suggest that, had Roethlisberger been his QB, his rookie numbers would have been similar to what JuJu’s were in his first year.
According to Pro Football Focus, no WR in football forced more missed tackles in 2019. The guy is special in the open field. He’s got fumbling problems, but I foresee stardom from this guy.
He led the league in yards per punt return (12.3). He only really got a chance as a returner after Switzer went down. I'd imagine he's the guy there from day one this season.
The Steelers know what they’re doing from a scouting standpoint at the WR position. It gives me faith that Chase Claypool will be good. Diontae Johnson is on his way to being a stud, though.
He a similar body type to AB and is a good route runner. He's excellent in space. The Steelers can use him inside and outside.
I can’t wait to see what he turns into with Ben. I think he's a major fantasy sleeper this year.
In my opinion, he's going to lead the Steelers in receiving yards and become a breakout star in 2020.
