Last week, Jay Glazer took a shot at Ben Roethlisberger in a piece in The Athletic.
“First of all, let’s not put the words fitness and Ben Roethlisberger together, they are allergic to each other. There is no fitness in Ben Roethlisberger,” Glazer wrote in a mailbag article for The Athletic on Tuesday. “His idea of a great offseason workout program is doing one yoga session, playing golf, and drinking some beer.”
Wow! Pretty harsh. Or accurate? At any rate, Glazer "clarified" those remarks in a radio segment this weekend.
Actually, Glazer stands by his original remarks, but wants to make sure people realize he wasn't talking about Roethlisberger's rehab. Whatever.
I didn't originally take it to mean that Roethlisberger's rehab was off track in any way. I just looked at it as another pot shot from the national media.
