Football isn't complicated. The Steelers season hinges on Ben's right elbow

Children and snowflakes please take heed, for here comes a sermon courtesy of the Crowlman.

Should Ben Roethlisberger be healthy in 2020, the Steelers will make the playoffs.

It has been said, so it shall come to pass!

If the Steelers have an excellent draft class and hit on all six of their picks, they will not make the playoffs if Ben is hurt.

If they have what winds up being a terrible draft class, they will still make the playoffs this year if Ben is healthy.

The draft class matters, obviously, to the well being of the franchise for years to come. But, if you think that the Steelers could draft themselves into being a better team than the Ravens this year then I think your understanding of football is remedial at best.

I think the Ravens are going to win the division. They’re a wonderful football team. They had very few holes last year and have fewer now after the bulk of the offseason.

If the Steelers do win it, is it more likely because of Chase Claypool and Alex Highsmith or is it going to be because of Ben Roethlisberger? It's obvious.

Snowflakes, the Steelers playoff potential hinges upon what was already on this roster, not what could have been added over the weekend.

Hey, guys can chip in and help here and there. However, the strength of this team is going to be the defense, and if the offense is competitive this year it’s about the quarterback.

If you’re proclaiming that the Steelers are now KINGS IN THE NORTH because they drafted so well, you’re looking at it the wrong way.

If you’re proclaiming ALL IS LOST because you think they drafted poorly, you’re thinking the wrong way.

The success or failure of the 2020 Pittsburgh Steelers falls onto the shoulders of one man and Roger Goodell didn’t say his name this weekend.

Crowley bless.
