That's what we on the Crowley Show call the McCann/Bjugstad/Hornqvist line.
Last night against the Sabres, the Pens had their healthiest lineup in months. This included the Horny Panthers as the teams third line.
McCann, Bjugstad, and Hornqvist combined for four points on the evening. One of Hornqvist's two goals came on the power play.
When the Pens have won the Cup in the Crosby/Malkin era, they've had solid third line production. In 2016, it was the HBK line. In 2009, it was Cooke, Staal, Kennedy.
The Eastern Conference is a bear this year. In order to get through it, the Horny Panthers will need to help carry the weight.
