The 10 best individual seasons for a Pittsburgh athlete in the last decade

It's the worst week of the year on the sports calendar, which means schlubs like me come up with lists. Josh Bell had such a great first half of the year that it got me to thinking--What are the best individual seasons in the last decade of Pittsburgh sports?

In no particular order:

Andrew McCutchen, 2013: NL MVP, .317 BA, .911 OPS.

Andrew McCutchen, 2012: 3rd place in MVP voting, 31 HR’s, .952 OPS

Antonio Brown, 2015: 136 catches, 1,834 yards, 10 touchdowns.

Le’Veon Bell, 2014: 2,215 yards, 83 catches, 11 touchdowns.

Troy Polamalu, 2010: DPOY, 7 INT, 1 FF, 63 tackles.

Evgeni Malkin, 2011: 50 goals, 109 points, Hart, Art Ross.

Evgeni Malkin, 2009 playoffs: 14 goals and 36 points in 24 games.

Sidney Crosby, 2007: 36 goals, 120 points, Hart, Art Ross.

Sidney Crosby, 2019: 35 goals, 100 points, 5th in Selke voting, 3rd in Hart voting.

Josh Bell, 2019: 27 HR’s, 84 RBI, 1.024 OPS, 60 EBH in 88 games.
