The Penguins are going to move Phil Kessel this summer. They've got an interesting decision regarding Justin Schultz. This offseason could determine whether or not Sidney Crosby's Penguins can get another championship.
The defense needs work, and so does the bottom six. I'd love to see the Penguins take a shot at bringing back Carl Hagelin.
He doesn't score a lot of goals. He was overpaid at 4 million dollars a season. If the Penguins could get him back here for around 2 million, I think it's something worth considering.
He's a good penalty killer and he's always been a positive possession player in his career. I watched him with Washington. His speed is still evident. Ideally, I'd love to see him on the 4th line with the speedy Teddy Blueger OR on the 3rd line with a fast Jared McCann. At any rate, the Penguins need to get back to their speed game.
This move isn't sexy, but it cheaply help the bottom of the roster.
