YINZgiving Announces First Golf Outing to Support Thanksgiving Meal Drive
Proceeds will fund the 6th Annual YINZgiving meal delivery this Thanksgiving.
PITTSBURGH, PA - August 29, 2025: YINZgiving, the volunteer initiative that has provided more than 5,000 warm Thanksgiving meals to families across Pittsburgh since 2020, is excited to announce its first-ever Golf Outing. It will take place on September 25, at Birdsfoot Golf Club in Freeport with a 10am Shotgun Start.
Now entering its sixth year, YINZgiving’s mission remains simple: ensuring that no Pittsburgh neighbor goes without a hot, traditional meal on Thanksgiving Day. Their golf outing represents a new way for the community to get involved in supporting this effort even earlier in the year.
YINZgiving is currently seeking:
● Teams of golfers.
● Any local business who would like to become a sponsor of the outing (sponsorships begin as low as $250, *Please note these sponsorships are for the outing only and will contribute towards YINZgiving 2025, sponsorships for the actual event in November have not been made yet).
● Volunteers to assist with event-day operations.
